Why I’m running for Asthma and Lung UK
Friday 9th Aug My dad was lifelong sufferer of Asthma, and sadly, diagnosed with Lung Cancer in 2017, where he lost the battle in 2019.I wanted to do something special to commemorate 5yrs since his passing, and thought running a marathon that supports others who have suffered like him, would be the perfect way. Unfortunately in 2024, due to injury, I had to postpone, but this year, I am determined to complete my first marathon, in spite of a recurring Morton’s Neuroma!
Having seen my dad suffer shortness of breath from Asthma his entire life and the worsening of this from lung cancer, I am hoping that my contributions can benefit those suffering from either Asthma or Lung diseases, to avoid or alleviate these situations.
Thank you all so much in advance for your kind donations.
