Why I’m running for Asthma and Lung UK
Friday 9th Aug I wanted to make my milestone birthday memorable by running my first marathon for my dad, who suffered both from Asthma throughout his life, and fatally from Lung Cancer in 2019.Sadly, I had to postpone this year due to physical injury, but I’m determined to still honour my dad, in 2025!
Having seen my dad suffer shortness of breath from Asthma his entire life and the worsening of this from lung cancer, I am hoping that my contributions can benefit those suffering from either Asthma or Lung diseases to avoid or alleviate these situations.
