I’m running The Great North Run in the fight for breath!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running The Great North Run for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 could go towards Health Care Advisors and Respiratory Specialists supporting someone with the information they need to live well.

Tuesday 13th Feb
In 2022 I lost one of the most important people in my life, my best friend, my grandad!

He meant everything to me, he was there for me day in day out and someone I could always count on. 

 He was by my side through think and thin and the memories I have will be with me forever an il be thinking of them all the way from start to finish of the marathon! 

A big passion of mine is rugby league and from the age of 10 when I first started playing over the next 22 years he followed me up and down the country watching me play and I don’t think he really knew how much it really meant to me, to have him watching me every week beaming with pride. Unfortunately my grandad passed away an it turned my world upside down but I try and take each day as it comes and just keep going for my mum, family and kids. He passed away after getting lung cancer and after having a chat with a good friend of mine he came up with the idea of running this great marathon in memory of him, so now it’s time to get down to business 💪🏽💙
