What is a charity place?
Asthma + Lung UK have a number of places in The Great North Run 2024! We’ll be getting many fab fundraisers to use those places to run for us and raise money in the fight for lung health! This is a great way to get involved in the event if you missed out on the ballot!
How much is the sign up fee?
It costs £35 to sign up for a charity place!
How much do I have to raise?
When you sign up you’ll pledge to raise £350 to support our vital work. This could go a long way in supporting us in the fight for a world where everyone has healthy lungs!
Where is the money raised going?
The money raised by taking part in The Great North Run will help us to continue to fight for lung health. We do this by funding world-leading research to help change millions of lives, providing services that support thousands of people across the country and leading campaigns that help make long lasting change.
Ballot places
What is a ballot place?
Some lucky runners who enter The Great North Run ballot will win a place in the 2024 event. You can use that ballot place to support Asthma + Lung UK
How much is the sign up fee?
It’s FREE to register with a ballot place!
How much do I have to raise?
You won’t have a specific target, we just ask that you raise as much as you can to support our vital work. We will be able to support you with many fundraising tips along the way!
