I’m doing the Hope Half Hour this January.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. Asthma + Lung UK is the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. The Asthma + Lung UK helpline gives on average half an hour of support to everyone who contacts them.
I’m doing the Hope Half Hour, walking half an hour every day in January, to make a difference. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

Wednesday 4th Jan Today wasn't just walking, It was walking and stair climbing - which for me can be a challenge! but I managed it and got 2 more donations thank you x Share
About to start day 3
Tuesday 3rd Jan Most of my friends and family know why I'm doing this challenge, but if you don't,nearly 12 years ago I suffered a spontaneous pneumothorax and spent many weeks in Watford and Harefield hospitals.
After having a talc pleurodesis part of my lung was removed.
I also suffer from asthma and am restricted twice over.
So I'm keen for there to be support for people with lung conditions to be available.

Thursday 29th Dec So the 1st of January is nearly here and so is my 1st walk for asthma & lung UK. Hoping to kick start my fitness as well as raise money for a charity that is close to my heart- or lungs!If you can donate, even a small amount I and people that suffer with lung conditions would be very grateful!
