My story, my why...

So, over time many people have asked why haven’t I ran the Great North Run? Why would I not like to participate? and so on. Today I now have my story and my why...
Sadly, I suddenly lost my Dad which following tests showed an accumulation of lung / asthma related factors. The main cause a Massive Pulmonary Embolism followed closely by Pneumonia, Influenza A and a secondary factor of Asthma.
This has given me the push to participate in the 2024 Great North Run and to support a charity which will help others fight lung diseases and hopefully give more people extra days, weeks, months and years with their loved ones 💕
