I’m running The Great North Run in the fight for breath!

As some of you will know I’ve been on a weight loss journey for the last year losing 6 stone since January 2023.

This year as part of continuing that journey I have decided to enter the 2024 great north run in September which is a half marathon event from Newcastle city centre to South Shields. 

I’ve also decided to try raise some money for charity on the way.

I’m running in aid of asthma and lung uk a charity who are dedicated to helping create a world where good lung health and the ability to breathe freely are a basic right enjoyed by all. From research and campaigning to advice and support, as the nation’s lung charity they are on a mission to change the way that lung health is perceived.

This is something personal to me as lung disease is something that my father suffered with before his passing back in 2013.

I’m going to need all the help I can get to complete this so any donations to spur me on would be greatly appreciated.
