Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. We are determined to make a difference. We are participating in the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the sole UK charity dedicated to advocating for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound we raise will bring us closer to a world where everyone possesses healthy lungs.
Just £22 can provide one of Asthma + Lung UK’s dedicated nurses with the opportunity to respond to a call on their Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. We would be incredibly grateful for any donations you can contribute!

Here we go again
Friday 14th Jun Our biggest regret after completing the 2024 London Marathon was that we hadn’t chosen to run for a charity. It was wonderful to see all the vests from various charities, and we both wished we had used the opportunity to raise awareness and funds. Deborah and some of our family members suffer from asthma. As a child and teenager, Deborah was frequently hospitalised due to regular bouts of pneumonia, bronchitis, and even pleurisy. Anyone with a lung condition knows that breathing cannot be taken for granted. We strive to find advancements that can reduce suffering and support those who need the most help. Over the past 50 years, we’ve seen significant improvements in medication and care, and by supporting this charity, we can continue this vital work. You won’t be sponsoring Deborah and Sean; you’ll be donating and helping others achieve the best quality of life we all desire.
