I’m taking part in The Great North Run 2024!
I've decided to take part in this year's Great North Run. I'm running in aid of Asthma and Lung UK. I chose this charity because I have a long term respiratory condition called Bronchiectasis and so to have the opportunity to raise money for a charity that dedicates itself to doing all it can for lung health was not something I was going to pass up on.Asthma and Lung UK not only support research but also actively help those who have a respiratory condition access information so they can understand it as best they can.

I’m taking part in The Great North Run 2024!
Thursday 27th Jun This year, I've decided to take part in The Great North Run 2024 in aid of Asthma and Lung UK as part of #TeamBreathe.I'm really looking forward to taking part in this event and especially for such a good cause. I think it's important to raise awareness of this charity as they not only inform people about different respiratory conditions and help those who have them but they campaign for improved air quality and support groundbreaking research too.
As someone who has lived with a respiratory condition since birth, I'm a big fan of a charity which believes in helping make the world a healthier place for lungs and in helping those who have a respiratory condition (and those who don't) understand the different conditions more.
Any support would be really appreciated and, well, I better get running!
