Every Breath I Take: Running London for Lung Health

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK 🏃‍♂️💨 – a cause incredibly close to my heart. Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition, and for me, this is personal.

My 8-year-old daughter Amelina has a rare respiratory condition, receiving exceptional care from the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust; and my father has COPD; so respiratory conditions are as close to my heart (lungs?) and my life as it gets.

Running the marathon isn’t just a personal challenge; it’s a way to raise awareness and funds for the millions in the UK living with lung disease. Exercise and sport are vital for healthy lungs, and through this run, I hope to highlight the importance of lung health for everyone. 🫁❤️

Asthma + Lung UK fights for everyone’s right to breathe freely. They provide crucial support through their Helpline, where £22 allows a nurse to offer potentially lifesaving advice. They also fund cutting-edge research to improve treatments and find cures, campaign for cleaner air and better healthcare, and offer resources and support for patients and families dealing with lung conditions.
