I've chosen to run the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK. Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition and lung conditions are the third biggest cause of death in the UK. Asthma + Lung UK do so much amazing work for a cause very close to my heart- I required regular use of a nebuliser as a child to treat my asthma and my late father suffering from a variety of lung conditions and complications. Thankfully, my asthma is now at a manageable level- many aren’t as fortunate. I’m very proud to run and fundraise for them!

Training update weeks 1-4!

Sunday 2nd Feb
Survived my first month of training! It’s been up and down for sure, started the month with an aching knee which over the weeks morphed into an aching shin… Physio and I haven’t quite worked out what’s wrong with me but the pain is currently minor and able to run through it. On the positives though, didn’t miss a single run, maintained gym sessions and ran a total 177km! Motivation remains sky high despite the tired and achey legs, time to ramp up the mileage 💪🏽 Grateful for all the company on runs and support thus far!
