I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

Hi everyone 

I am so pleased and honoured to be apart of Team Breathe London Marathon 2025 . To be honest I’m going to find this hard  I’m 56yrs  but i’m going to give it  my best shot  .

This charity is so close to my heart , sadly my dad died when I was 5 yrs old from Asthma . and at the age of 33 I had my first asthma attack . 

18 months ago I was struggling to get my asthma under control ,I was-constantly having chest infection every 6 weeks having to take antibiotics & steroids , this went on for nearly a year . Then one day I couldn’t take it anymore , so I phoned Asthma +Lung uk who helped me get my life back and my Asthma back under control .

So from me and my family we would like to thank you guys for such an amazing job you do 

And in return I would like to give something back and raise as much money as I can for this amazing charity 

 Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
