I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
Around 10 years ago my amazing grandad was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and was told there was a slim chance he would survive,
My grandad wasn’t someone that gave up he never accepted that. After treatment and a lung removed my grandad had beat cancer only to be told what he had left of his lungs was riddled with COPD and on top of asthma this was life threating for my grandad and again was told the worst, but still everyday without being able to breath he got up everyday and got on with it and was the best grandad any girl could dream of. After years of fighting my grandad sadly passed away in January 2022 I lost the most important person in my life to something I new absolutely nothing about. No family should go through what we did, no one should go through what grandad did ♥️
This charity as a whole is close to my heart in many ways in my family my grandad isn’t the only one who suffers from these issues and this if not only for grandad but you to
