I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. In March 2024 my beautiful daughter Fíadh lost consciousness and stopped breathing. She choked on a banana that she was unable to swallow due to respiratory problems that were not properly diagnosed over a 3 month period. After 1 week in intensive care she thankfully made a full recovery. We still don’t know if it was asthma or a lung condition or even a series of infections that caused this. Some families aren’t so lucky. I hope to raise money to aid in better understanding why respiratory malfunctions seem to be more prevalent today particularly in young children. I believe TEAM BREATH (ASTHMA + LUNG UK) can do just this.
