I’m running the 2025 London Marathon on behalf of Asthma + Lung UK!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I will be running the 2025 London Marathon (!) on behalf of Asthma + Lung UK.
I was diagnosed with asthma at the age of just two and it has often stopped me from pushing myself physically. In the past couple of years however, I have managed to control my condition with help from amazing asthma nurses, so it felt like the perfect time to do something physically demanding for a great cause. Having only really ran for trains when late in the morning, surprisingly I'm loving my training so far. Hopefully I haven't spoken too soon!
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Poor lung health is the 3rd biggest killer in the UK. The money I hope to raise will help fund the vital work that Asthma + Lung UK conduct on a daily basis, such as carrying out vital research and campaigning for clean air, to providing treatment and support to those who need it the most.
