London marathon 2025 for dad!

Many of you knew my dad Geoff who sadly passed away in 2022. Dad was a wonderful father and his personality was truly infectious. He brought a smile to everyone’s face and was so kind and gentle. It was an absolute honour that this gentleman was my father and I thank my lucky stars. In honour of him I want to raise funds to help those in similar situations to him and ourselves. 

I didn't run much before he died, but since both our parents passed on myself and my brother have tried to do some good in the world and raise vital funds for charities who helped our family so much and work towards finding a cure and making it easy to adapt. 

Around 2016/17 dad was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis which meant over time his lungs would become weaker and weaker. He was given a few years to live but through his own strength he managed to live many years beyond this. 

I look to raise 3k for the breathe team who wish for a world where everyone can enjoy health lungs. They are dedicated to helping create a world where good lung health and the ability to breathe freely is a basic right enjoyed by all.
