I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

Thank you for your kind donation and support. I’ve been asthmatic since 7 years old. I run and exercise to keep my asthma under control. Raising money for this wonderful charity is very important to me. I’ll be running both the NYC (self funded place) and London marathon (charity place with entry fee self funded) to raise vital funds. 


Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Why Your Money Matters

£14 could fund an hour of research, giving hope to those who struggle to breathe.

£22 allows a respiratory nurse to support someone on the helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.

£60 could pay for five school air pollution monitors, collecting air quality data that can bring about change.

£100 could fund a day of vital research, helping to improve the care and treatment of people with lung conditions.

£125 could provide researchers with equipment to grow cells linked to lung conditions, crucial for developing better and gentler treatments.

£640 could fund a Support Group for one year, bringing people with a lung condition together.

£1000 could fund a research technician to perform two weeks of research, taking us one step closer to a world without lung disease.

Road to recovery

Wednesday 25th Sep
Unfortunately I picked up an injury to my glute & hamstring back in July (not caused by running!) and a very nasty chest infection in August which resulted being prescribed oral steroids along with antibiotics due to my asthma. Therefore training for NYC hasn’t gone as expected

But I am running with the advice of the physio, and cross training with cycling, yoga and body balance as well as physio exercises. I’ve also started shockwave therapy. So training hard as I can, and being very consistent with the running and cross training.

I managed 10 miles last weekend which has made me more optimistic for NYC, fingers crossed! 

I’m very determined so I know I’ll do my best running NYC! 

NYC is a fully self funded place, which I secured after running the virtual marathon in 2023. I ran NYC in 2022, one of the hottest on record, and wanted to run again when hopefully the weather will be a reasonable temperature. I’m using NYC to raise funds towards my fundraising target.
