I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

I’ve spent 6 months of this year so far in hospital with my asthma and added complications from severe attacks. This is deeply personal to me and although I’m not a runner I know that I won’t be worried about that when I run this marathon. I’m doing this for all of my friends and family who have to deal with this illness day in day out no matter the severity. It can creep up on you with no warning, it’s debilitating.

I’m Meg, 
In January this year my life took a horrific turn and I had a massive asthma attack that has sent my life in to a massive curve ball. It’s cause multiple more asthma attacks, breathing issues, and worsened my allergies. I’ve been back and forth hospital with 6-8 week admissions at a time trying to stabalise my condition 
After one failed biologic treatment I’ve now started a new one and we are starting to see a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Asthma and Lung UK are a very important charity to me, and raising money to get vital support for those who need it most is crucial. 
Please take the time to donate, and follow my story, this isn’t going to be easy, it’s going to be far from it
