London Marathon 2025

We're running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

We are very privileged to be running the London Marathon in April 2025. Claire was fortunate enough to be offered a ballot place and Lee was offered a charity place with Asthma + Lung UK, a charity very close to our hearts. In 2015 Lee's dad died from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis as a result of years of exposure to asbestos in his work as a joiner. In 2021, completely out of the blue Lee experienced a pulmonary embolism. Our son Josh also suffers from asthma and spent his last birthday in hospital on a nebuliser following an asthma attack! Together we are running the London Marathon in memory of Lee's dad and to help raise awareness of lung conditions.  

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Asthma + Lung UK is the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound we are able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. We would be very grateful for any donations you could make! Thank you x
