I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
On April 27th 2025 I am running the London Marathon!! After many years of entering the ballot and not being successful, I decided it was now or never so applied through a charity very close to mine and my family’s heart: Asthma + Lung UK and I was successful!
Our amazing mum Jackie was diagnosed with COPD many years ago and she has been fortunate enough to receive life-changing treatment, which has meant she can continue to live a reasonably normal life. For anyone that knows our Mum you'll know she will do anything for anyone and particularly her family. So I would now like to be able to give back to a cause that has really helped her and also helped others affected with similar problems.
Asthma + Lung UK work tirelessly to find new treatments for lung diseases and have made a huge difference in my mum's life and in the lives of countless others. By supporting my marathon run, you will help them continue their fantastic, life-changing work.
So I am reaching out to all of my friends and family and asking if you can please donate to this great cause, every single donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference. It will help fund and support groundbreaking research.
So as I begin the training to help me make it around that iconic 26 miles I would be really grateful for any donation you can manage to help save and change people’s lives affected.
