Running for Mum- A journey of Love & Hope
Hi, my name is Dimple,
As I prepare to run the London Marathon, my heart is heavy yet hopeful. Earlier this year, I lost my beloved mum to a sudden battle with lung disease and asthma. At just 63, her passing was a shock that shattered our family. Despite the pain, I want to channel my grief into something positive, raising funds to support others fighting similar battles.
My mum was more than just a parent; she was a source of inspiration, love, and resilience. Watching her struggle with her illnesses was heartbreaking, and I often felt helpless. Now, I realize that while I couldn’t save her, I can honor her memory by helping others.
Every mile I run will symbolize my love for her and my commitment to fighting lung disease. With your support, we can contribute to vital research and care for those affected, ensuring that fewer families have to endure the same heartache.
I’m asking for your help. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference. Together, we can help improve lives and offer hope to those who need it most. Thank you for standing with me as I run for my mum, and for all the mothers, fathers, and loved ones facing these challenges.
Let’s make a difference together.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
Thank you
Dimple
