I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
Every minute, someone is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, a healthcare based charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every bit I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Part of my journey to becoming a physician in pulmonary and critical care was inspired by my cousin, John Paul, who sadly passed away in 2009 from cystic fibrosis. As a lung doctor today, I now take care of patients with asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer as well as cystic fibrosis, offering them opportunities to improve their health and their breathing with advancements we could have only dreamed of even 15 years ago.
Fighting to help advocate for clean air, better technologies, and care delivered to patients with lung disease is a passion of mine. It's why I've dedicated my career towards caring for them and researching new interventions to advance the field. It's why I'm proud to be supporting this organization and running for this charity!
