I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in the fight for breath!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2024 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

Hello, friends and family! This spring, my asthma got out of control, I had a horrid virus that ended in pneumonia, and I was hospitalised in the respiratory unit for days, on oxygen and IV antibiotics and steroids. It was super frightening to be 27, so unwell, and away from my kiddos. After becoming a mom, I stopped running much and taking care of my physical health, and the hospitalisation kicked my butt back into gear.
I am running for Asthma + Lung UK in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, aiming to raise £350 to support research and care for individuals such as myself who have chronic lung disease. If you would consider donating, it would be greatly appreciated 🙂
