Royal Parks Half Marathon 2023

I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in the fight for breath!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

My Dad - COPD

Wednesday 10th May
My Dad sadly passed away February this year due to lung and heart problems. He was an amazing human being and words cannot describe how much myself and our family miss him 😢😢

Dad had breathing problems due to his COPD for many years and Mum would call an ambulance where he would be taken to hospital and into Respiratory Care, the care he received was enormous and he always came home. Sadly Dad never came home this time as he was not strong enough. 

My Dad was 73, but he was taken far too soon and there are people living with this condition much younger than him that need help. 

This will be the 3rd Royal Parks Half Marathon that I will be taking part in, Dad came to watch me for the first two!! 

This year will make it even more special as I am running for Dad and all the COPD sufferers.
