I’m walking to make a difference.

My mum, Christine, had asthma her whole life and unfortunately we lost her to COPD, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, 5.5 years ago.  I have wanted to do something in memory of my mum, I did the walk last year as I wanted to make sure I could do it and not let mum down.  So here I go, please make  donation anything would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Every pound I raise takes us closer to a world where everyone breathes clean air with healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice to someone in need.

Any donations you can give are hugely appreciated - thank you for supporting me and everyone out there living with a lung condition.

I did it!!
Set off at 7.30am and finished at 4.30pm, this includes toilet stops and a quick bite to eat.  Terrain was tough but all done in memory of my mum x.

Over the last 40 years, thanks to kind supporters like you, the charity has nvested more than £100m in research funding. Their research has saved lives with better treatments for children with pneumonia and people with severe asthma, improved the lives of people with COPD through better treatments and helped revolutionise the diagnosis of lung problem in pre-school children.
