I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in the fight for breath!
Hi All,
My father-in-law, Cecil Zlotnick, passed away tragically in February suffering from a debilitating lung disease. I have decided to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise funds for Asthma + Lung UK in his memory. Cecil was a unique personality; extremely serious and set in his ways ( the engineer in him), always the joker: finding any reason for a good laugh and most relevant a caring and considerate father, husband and grandpa (the sensitive man).
Cec wherever you are we all miss you, I will always respect and do my best to emulate your steadfast principles and the deep consideration you always had for your children and all those who were close to you.
To all my supporters, every day we take our ability to breathe for granted. In celebration of Cecil Zlotnick please give generously to support Asthma & Lung UK to help improve the lives and outcomes of all those people who do not have this luxury.
About Lung & Asthma
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
