I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
Upon completing the London Marathon last year I said never again.... so here we are!
Having spent my primary school years in and out of my local hospital ward where I had open admission, relying on a home nebulizer, and fearing yet another common cold, this cause is close to me. I still depend on a twice daily high dose of steroids to go about my day to day life, and running has been a way to improve lung capacity and better manage the condition.
This will be my third year of marathon training- the first I caught pneumonia and broke my ankle. Here's hoping that the road to London will be a little smoother this year.
Any donation, whatever the amount would be much appreciated and will keep me running through this wonderful weather.
A bit about Asthma + Lung UK
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
