I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
Since January 2024 my Daughter Meg was admitted to hospital with severe Brittle Asthma. She has been in and out of hospital over the last 7 months spending most of it in Resus seriously ill and as an inpatient.
Her Asthma Team are still trying to get to the bottom of what has caused this to flare and had included a week in a specialist hospital in London.
Vital funds are needed so my daughter and many others do not spend months and months in hospital with poor quality of life whilst they work out what is going on. So many people suffer everyday and this needs to change.
Meg and I talked about the Marathon and it was her idea to run in 2025 - so we are going to do this together.
Please donate as every penny counts. It will help others like Meg get treated and diagnosed sooner and stop months of time in hospital. Let’s go team Perry!!!
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
